As a Staff Development and Infection Prevention Nurse, you’ll be a leader helping to create and uphold a positive culture and environment. Ideal candidates possess a nursing degree and current RN license from the state of Colorado. They should be versatile, open to change, and committed to superior patient care. They must also have a minimum of one year experience working in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution.

The primary purpose of your job is to asses, develop and implement content for current nursing staff at the Senior Care Center. Work with the nursing leadership team to provide an infection free environment for the facility. Working closely with the Director of Nursing for quarterly and as needed audits.
Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree and a current RN license from the state of Colorado.
Experience: Must have a minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution. Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Licenses/Certification: RN in state of Colorado. Must become certified as an Infection Preventionist upon hire into this role
Compensation: $32.21/hr - $40.80/hr, depending on experience.
Medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, and dependent care FSA: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following date of hire. PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act Eligibility guidelines.
