- CPR or BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Licensed Repiratory Therapist in Colorado
Provides comprehensive therapeutic and diagnostic, respiratory care, and will be able to provide cardiac rehabilitative services to inpatients and outpatients upon the request of a physician and under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Manager. Possesses and demonstrates knowledge and skills in all areas of cardiopulmonary medicine. Is also required to assist in new employee orientation and training. Is able to provide clinical and troubleshooting expertise, and serve as preceptor when assigned by the Respiratory Care Manager. May be involved with community education and diagnostics. If willing, may be trained in Echocardiography.
Education: Graduate of an approved and accredited school for Respiratory Care.
Experience: At least one year experience in acute Respiratory Care medicine to include: general floor care, ICU, emergency room, OB (preferred) and cardiopulmonary diagnostics.
Licenses/Certification: Current BLS and NRP required. ACLS (preferred). Certified or Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Licensed to practice Respiratory Care in the State of Colorado. Membership in the AARC (preferred).
