Home Health/Hospice – Nurse (RN)

Ideal RN candidates possess a nursing degree and current RN license from the state of Colorado. They should be versatile, open to change, and committed to superior patient care. They must also have a minimum of one year experience working in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution; wound care and home health experience preferred.

Administer skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent professional nursing services in accordance with department policies and procedures. Complete initial evaluation visit, regularly re-evaluate the patients nursing needs, initiates the plan of care and furnishes services. Coordinates services works with physicians and other personnel of changes in patients condition counsels patient and families. Participates in in-service programs, and supervises and teaches other nursing personnel.
Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree and a current RN license from the state of Colorado.
Experience: Must have a minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution. Wound care experience a plus.
Licenses/Certification: Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. Valid Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, reliable transportation, and current CPR certification.
Compensation: $30.20 - $39.26/hr, depending on experience.
Medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, and dependent care FSA: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following date of hire. PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act Eligibility guidelines.
