Operates Computed Tomography scanning equipment to produce images used to aid in diagnosis of disease and injuries. Confers with patient, explain procedures, and elicits cooperation. Positions patient properly, determines correct protocol according to exam order and diagnosis, and properly uses power injector for contrast injection. Must be proficient in performing body, MSK, Neuro and Cardiac ST scans as well as radiography and C-arm procedures utilizing ALARA principles. Must be registered in Computed Tomography and Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Education:Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience:Training and Experience: Minimum requirement of two years as a staff technologist with demonstrated patient care skills. Personality and the ability to work with various hospital departments, and the general public are required.
Licenses/Certification: Registry or registry eligible with the A.R.R.T. (R) (CT). Maintenance of current CPR or BLS.
Compensation: $30.84 - $39.06/hr, depending on experience.

Medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, and dependent care FSA: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following date of hire. PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act Eligibility guidelines.
