Physician Assistant - Urgent Care (PRN)
Work Hours: Varied Shifts as needed
The Physician Assistant will be an experienced urgent care and emergency medicine provider capable of functioning independently with limited diagnostic technology and no on-site specialist support.
The patient population includes locals, tourists with a wide variety of logistical and social challenges. A dedication to teamwork, patience, and flexibility is an essential characteristic for any provider in this role.
Education: Graduate of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the ARC-PA
Certification: The Physician Assistant will maintain certification in good standing with the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Other certifications required: ACLS, PALS, BLS, ATLS will be completed within first year of hire.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in clinical practice as a Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 year in emergency medicine or urgent care. Experience in remote supervision setting (physician not present) preferred.
License: Licensed by the Colorado State Board of Medical Examiners. Current registration with the US Drug Enforcement Administration for schedules 2-5.
