Work Hours: Monday - Friday


Responsible for developing and supervising a new integrated behavioral health program for Gunnison Valley Health.  This includes working and collaborating with a wide variety of human service community organizations toward a common goal of excellence in behavioral health services and providing leadership and accountability for outcomes.  Additionally, this position includes responsibility to provide direct care mental health services to clients and patients in the health care system.   Service goals include providing behavioral health therapy to clients to improve their functioning and to prevent a higher level of care, group and family therapy, crisis assessment and management, behavioral health case management and care coordination/consultation.


Education: Masters level degree in a recognized mental health/social work profession.     


Experience: Program Development/leadership experience preferred.  Experienced in providing behavioral health services in a primary care setting preferred.  Training in conducting diagnostic evaluations to establish differential diagnosis and treatment plans.      


Licenses/Certification: LPC or LCSW Colorado State license or license eligible preferred.
